Everyday Life with the Putonti's: A funny thing that happened at the zoo

On this last Friday Matt and I were off for the afternoon and decided we would go to the zoo for some fun family time ! Grandma and Poppi got us a year membership for Christmas and we were excited to use it ! The zoo just opened their new Africa exhibit and had lots of cool new things to see ! We saw lots of monkeys and Max kept making monkey noises saying eee eee eee and laughing. Max loved the elephants and made spitting elephant noises too. He wanted out of the stroller of course so we let him run around some and daddy carried him some. At some point Max decided he didnt want to hold our hands and kept running off with his hands folded across his chest. This was pretty funny to watch !

One of the funniest things that happened was at one of the monkey exhibits. There was a pretty good size crowd of people around watching these two monkeys play and chase each other. Then, Max let's out this very loud toot ! He gets this big grin on his face and laughs and says tooot toooot!! Then he says "scuse me"!!! It was pretty hilarious and we couldn't stop laughing which probably isn't good to teach your kids that passing gas is funny but the whole situation really was funny !! So definitely not a teaching moment but definitely one to remember ! Max had fun seeing the "maminals" and told them "happy new new "! We went home and Max fell asleep in the car pretty quickly !

Heres a cute video of Max walking with his arms crossed so he doesn't have to hold our hands and then at the end he decides okay if I have to hold hands I'll hold Mommy's but not Dad's!
