All Smiles

Well I thought I would write in here just a little bit. I have been so busy with school and trying to balance it all. Maxwell is getting so big! His personality is coming out more and more every day. He has really started smiling alot more this last week. The cutest thing he has done to date happened the other night. I was reading this book about how to get your baby to sleep through the night and it was talking about a bedtime routine - so I was doing his bedtime routine and I was rocking him in the rocking chair in the dark by the light of only a night light that was plugged in behind the chair. Well I was singing to him and he's just smiling and cooing at me and then he looks up at the ceiling and makes this "O" face and noise and he sees the shadows on the ceiling that are moving from the chair rocking.

He stares at it another couple seconds and then just starts laughing - for a good five minutes he was enjoying this little shadow on the wall. Totally priceless.
