Waiting for Marshall

Well its been a really long time since i wrote on here .... Things have been crazy! After going to the doctor on Friday she scheduled an induction date for Marshall for tomorrow. We are so excited... And got lots done this weekend in preparation for his big day! The nursery is mostly done with the exception of a few minor decoration details, carseat has been reupholstered by Nana and looks awesome... Weird having two big carseats in the backseat ... Doesnt leave much room for visitors !

I have been had contractions last night but they stopped... Thought it would be cool if Marshall came on his own but either way he will be in my arms soon.  I was holding Courtland the other day and Max wanted up in my lap too... I know this is gonna be an adjustment for my little boy to have to share his mommy all of a sudden...I bought a ton of presents for max from Marshall to give him at the hospital so maybe he won't think his little brother is so bad!

It has been hard to wrap my mind around the fact that I am fixing to be a momma of two boys!  Max has been keeping me so busy I guess inhavent had time to think about it much. He is so sweet, with all his cute things he does. I love you Mommy's and actually has good manners a lot of the time!  He says don't say that word if he hears you say something like shut up which is cute and makes you realize that little ears hear everything!

He's been loving playing basketball and is actually really good at it, and is making amazing contact with golf balls even when he is using right handed clubs left handed ! He says one two three playyyy golf .... He says it almost every time he hits .... Guessing he got this from baseball hearing play ball....

The other day I was grunting on the couch and he looks at me real concerned and says you need tums mommy?  He's so sweet and cute! Matt made waffles for breakfast and max runs in the other room to tell me, mommy, the waffffles are readdddee!  He has been watching lots of mickey mouse clubhouse ....when he wants to watch it he says watch Mickey mouse clubhouse come inside fun inside mommy ( the lyrics to the intro song)!

He's been singing a lot lately and youll hear him belting out rain rain go away, itsy bitsy spider, wheels on the bus ( he loves the baby crying verse), and his favorite is grandpas farm we sing that every night before bed together and he does all the animal sounds. He got mad when I tried to add new animals... Like a frog, he said no frog on grandpas farm mommy! No frog! At night he tells me big hug mommy, cover me! To cover him with the blanket...note we still aren't sleeping in the toddler bed, but on a pallet on the floor next to the bed... Or he is in our bed laying sideways kicking mom and dad in the back or face!

Max wants to be outside all the time but it has been so hot with no rain that he's understanding pretty well that it's too hot to play outside. He does like to help dad fill up the birdfeedeers and water the flowers!

Anyway we can't wait for Marshall to get here, to meet him, and welcome him into our family.
